Online Resources and Homework While I still want to stress that I do not want students to be overloaded with work to complete at home, I have seen that our students need some extra help and resources after school. Until our students get their own device, I would like to encourage families to have your student work on Lexia Core 5, and IXL throughout the week. I have included some IXL strands below that will align with our current unit. Your students are amazing! This past week we were hit with some changing weather and felt the full effect of fall! This did allow us to get some practice with our indoor recess routines and look forward to some better weather this upcoming week. We also finished our fall NWEA testing this week and began transitioning into more content in our core subjects. Please take some time to look over some information for this upcoming week! Reading We just completed our first read aloud book,  Tales of a 4th Grade Nothing.  The kids loved this hilarious book and had many similar connections with the characters. We are beginning our second book  Holes  this week.   Math Last week, we began the first 2 lessons of our first unit in math. This unit is called "Place Value: Multi Digit Addition and Subtraction."
